What We Did Last Week #WeekTen

Last Sunday, Husband was sitting his CBT test so he can ride motorbikes. The kids and I decided to have a house day. In the morning we did some arts and crafts and in the afternoon, we watched some TV and made chicken for dinner. Husband took the kids out for a bike ride after tea.

On Monday, it was back to school for Wee Z. Miss C and I spent the morning tidying the bathroom cabinet. Husband is going to be painting it very soon so I thought I should get rid of all the rubbish beforehand. In the afternoon, we went to the park. Miss C rode her scooter to the park. I had to pull her home on it.

On Tuesday, I got a shock when I found Casper the cat with a bird in his mouth. I chased him to get him to drop it and got the fright of my life when the bird flew straight from his mouth into my kitchen window. After a chase, I managed to throw a teatowel on the bird and release him back outside. In the afternoon, Miss C wanted to go to the park on her bike. I had to push her home when she got tired and grumpy.

On Wednesday, we had a house day again as it was freezing outside. We only went out for the school run. We played with Playmobil and we read some books in bed.

On Thursday, it was World Book Day so Wee Z went to school dressed up as Where's Wally? I had painted his t-shirt for him as I could not find a red and white striped top anywhere. Needless to say, he was covered in red when he came out of school as the paint had rubbed off. My friend came over with her baby and we had a lovely day catching up and eating cake.

On Friday, it was a miserable morning and cold. Really cold. I took the kids to school and nursery and I headed to the shops to get our food shopping. After nursery, Miss C and I made chocolate brownies and played with the Kurio we recently won. Miss C wanted to take a brownie to her nursery teacher so I had to run to school to drop one in for him before picking Wee Z up.

On Saturday, I went to work. It was really cold again and I felt like my face had frozen by the time I got to work. In the afternoon, we had a lazy day, doing sticker books (Miss C) and doing Math workbooks (Wee Z). In the evening, we went out for dinner for Mother's Day as everywhere was fully booked for actual Mother's Day.
