On Monday, it was back to school for Wee Z. Miss C spent the morning trying to coax Jazz out from under the table however, the poor kitten was still terrified after his journey to his new home. Wee Z came home with an award of Pupil of the Week from school for great effort in all his work. Husband also got a new job. I was very proud of my boys on Monday!
On Tuesday, Miss C and I played some games and did some puzzles as the weather was horrible. We went out in the afternoon to do some shopping and get a gift for the lovely Susan, who had her baby girl last week.
On Wednesday, it rained and it poured all morning. Luckily, by the afternoon, it had dried up so we went for a bike ride to the post office. It was still very windy though and I don't think Miss C was too impressed with being blown about on her bike.
On Thursday, it was a horrible wet and windy day. Miss C went to nursery and made some biscuits and danced to Gangnam Style with her Gran and her friends. They also listened to my MIL read The Gingerbread Man at story time. In the afternoon, we stayed indoors and played some Orchard Toys games and puzzles. It was too wet to go anywhere however it dried up in time for the school run.
On Friday, Miss C and I made rainbow cupcakes when she came home from nursery. When they were ready, we just HAD to try one to make sure they tasted OK. Miss C went to ballet and had a great time. In the evening, we had a movie night and watched Aladdin.
On Saturday, Wee Z had a birthday party to go to and Miss C went into town to see an owl display with her Daddy. In the afternoon, we went to a friend's house as it was their daughter's birthday and also a leaving party for them as they are moving overseas. We ate lots of cake and pizza!
