This is a 30 piece jigsaw aimed at ages 3 and over. We have quite a few of the big Orchard Toys jigsaws and they are really fun to put together and, even better, they have lots of talking points and different things to look out for.
Miss C and I sat down to do the puzzle together on a rainy afternoon. It is a big jigsaw so we used the kitchen table to do it on. When we do puzzles, I usually get the kids to sort the pieces into piles: corners, edges and insiders. I've always found this an easier way to do a puzzle instead of hunting for what bits you need. It also helps them with their sorting skills!
It took us less than 10 minutes to put the jigsaw together. Miss C loved the little magpie "thief" beside the Police Officer who was on the beat. She also loved the Police dog who looks a bit like my Mum's Belgian Malinois, Cooper. Wee Z was keen to do the jigsaw himself and loved the Police motorbike! I loved that the Police Officers were of mixed nationalities.

This is another fantastic jigsaw from Orchard Toys and would make an excellent present for any jigsaw fan. I can also see this being used in a nursery or a school to talk about the work the Police do in a community.
