Happy New Year everyone!
Last year I set myself the resolution of appreciating my children more. Of course, I appreciate them for everything they are and everything they do on a daily basis however, I'd be a liar if I didn't admit that sometimes they drive me potty.
It's been harder to spend time with Wee Z on a daily basis since he started school in August. He comes in from school and I head out to work. Such is life. It has made me appreciate the time we have together more though and I want to focus on that in 2013.
Miss C and I are spending a lot more time together since I had to change my hours at work. I get to take her to nursery which is something I didn't get to do very often with Wee Z. On the days she doesn't go to nursery, we spend the mornings making food together and the afternoons playing or reading together. If it isn't raining, we go for walks or we go to the park. I love spending time with her and seeing her grow from a toddler into a little girl.
My hopes for this year are that we remain happy, healthy and continue to appreciate the time we DO spend together.
If 2012 is anything to go by then 2013 is going to go in even faster.
