On Tuesday, Miss C and I did some painting. Miss C loves to paint and with the rain on and off all day, it was the perfect opportunity to get the easel and paints out. We painted a rainbow, a tree, the sun and a river...and then Miss C decided it would look a lot better with a big splash of blue paint across it.
On Wednesday, our second toy box from Toys R Us arrived as part of the Toyologist program. Miss C was super excited to find out what was inside before her brother, as Wee Z was at school when it arrived. Miss C was delighted to find a new baby, a pram and a scooter for her baby inside the box. The reviews will be on the Toys R Us blog shortly!
On Thursday, Miss C and I walked to the toddler group and met Mummy N and Wee L there. The kids had fun running around and playing in the coupe cars. After dinner, I left Husband to put the kids to bed and I went to my first ever kettlebells class. It was good and I could feel it working during the class! I was definitely ready for bed when I got home!
On Friday, Mummy N and Wee L came for lunch after nursery. In the afternoon, I took Miss C to ballet and arranged to stay with her for her class to see if she would settle. She was a bit clingy at first but then she joined in when I asked her to help me with the routines. We've only seen her do her routines once and that time she just stood and looked at us, so it was great to see how much she had picked up.
On Saturday, after work, we spent the afternoon playing with some of the toys from our Toyologist box. Wee Z got some great boy toys which Miss C enjoyed playing with whilst Wee Z got creative with the Lego Duplo. After dinner, we went to the leisure centre for soft play and swimming. It was busy but we still had a great time.
