Last Sunday, a walk to the park turned into a visit to see Mr Bloom and his veggies. Luckily the rain held off for the kids to enjoy an assault course, a bug hunt, some ice cream and Mr Bloom's Nursery show.
On Monday, the kids had a friend over to play in the morning. In the afternoon we played on the trampoline before I did my usual Monday Workout! The things I do to eat cake!
On Tuesday, the kids went to their summer club. Miss C had her face painted as a butterfly. In the afternoon, Wee Z played with some Ben 10 and Power Rangers Mini Figures he received to review. He loves Ben 10 however he had never seen a Power Ranger before. Like every little boy though, he took to his new action figures straightaway and had them in all sorts of predicaments before tea time. He now wants to add more to his collection! I think I shall be stocking up on them as stocking fillers!
On Wednesday, I cleared out the craft box. It was overflowing with paper, stickers, colours and colouring books. I've grown a tough skin when it comes to clearing out the wonderful art creations Wee Z and Miss C make. You just can't keep everything! It was looking much better by the time I'd finished but I guarantee it won't last long!
On Thursday, the kids played out in the front garden. It had been raining the night before so the grass was wet and the mud was perfect for potion making. Wee Z, Miss C and a few of the neighbourhood kids played with sticks in the mud for 3 and a half hours. I sat at my front door and watched them having fun and getting really messy. Even when the rain started, they stayed outside with their hoods up. They were loving it!
On Friday, I took the kids to their summer club. Miss C had her face painted again as a pig. She loves pigs at the moment and is determined to get one to keep in the garden. I think frogs in the garden are enough for just now!
On Saturday, we went shopping. Not boring food shopping...fun clothes shopping. I had some birthday money for the kids so we went to the shopping centre in a bid to buy them some new clothes. We also got Wee Z his school clothes as it isn't long now until he starts school!
We received the Ben 10 and Power Rangers Mini Figures in the post to review. They are available from Argos, Tesco, Asda, Toys R Us and all good toy stores. They are priced at £1.99. The opinions expressed are my own.
