Funny Things My Child Says #5

Wee Z heard a joke recently which he thought was great and decided to share it at group time at nursery. He told me how he got on today whilst making dinner.

Wee Z "What did the zero say to the eight?"

Me "I don't know, what did the zero say to the eight?"

Wee Z "I like your belt!"

Me "Haha, that's very funny! Did you tell that at nursery?"

Wee Z "Yes and everyone laughed except for one boy. He didn't laugh!"

Me "Ah well, maybe he didn't understand it."

Wee Z (in an almost exasperated voice) "He speaks English Mummy, of course he understood it!"
